Recently the women and child development Minister of Maharashtra state Mrs Aditi Tatkare announced the 9th installment release date of the scheme during the state legislature meeting. During the announcement, the Minister announced the release date of both the 8th and 9th installments of the Ladki Bahin Yojana. The 9th installment of the scheme will be the third installment of the Year 2025 which is going to be released in the month of March. What is Maharashtra Ladki Bahin Yojana?
To gain the trust of the female citizens of Maharashtra state by helping them financially the Maharashtra state government launched the Ladki Bahin Yojana in August 2024. Under this came the state government promised to provide monitory incentives of INR 1500 to each selected female citizen. Since its launch, the scheme has become a Pioneer in women’s empowerment and development in Maharashtra. To maintain the security and transparency of the funds, the funds will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiary through the DBT process. All the female citizens of Maharashtra state who are between the age group of 21 to 65 years are eligible to avail the benefits of the scheme.
Ladki Bahin Yojana 9th Installment Release Date
According to the women and child development Minister of Maharashtra state Mrs Aditi Tatkare, the 9th installment of the scheme will be released in the last days of March 2025. The Maharashtra state government will release the 9th installment once the state budget session is complete. As per the news, the state budget session has started on 3rd March 2025 and it is expected to be complete on 26th March 2025. Once the budget session is completed the state government will start processing the financial assistance into the bank account of the beneficiaries.

- The female citizens must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra state.
- The female citizens must be between the age group of 21 to 60 years.
- The female citizens must be financially unstable citizens of the state.
- The annual income of the female citizen family must not exceed INR 2.5 lakh.

- If the annual income of the applicant family combined is more than INR 2.5 lakh she will not be selected under the scheme.
- Any member of the applicantโs family must not be a taxpayer.
- If the family members of the applicant are working as regular/permanent employees in a government department, undertaking, board, Government of India or local body of state or drawing person after retirement he will not be selected under the scheme.
- Any family member of the applicant must not be a present or former MP / MLA.
- Any member of the applicantโs family must not be any government official.
- The applicantโs family member must not own a four-wheeler except a tractor to be eligible under the scheme.
