The Telangana state government has launched the Telangana Sanna Biyyam Scheme for Ration Card Holders 2025. To allow the financially weak citizens of Telangana state to get access to fine and high-quality rice the Telangana state government has launched as Telangana Sanna Biyyam Scheme. Under this scheme, the Telangana state government will provide a total of 6 kg of fine rice to all the ration card holders in the state. The implementation of the scheme will start from the Nalgonda district of Telangana state before getting implemented statewide. All the ration card holders who won to avail of the benefits of the scheme can visit the nearest public distribution system (PDS).
Objective of Sanna Biyyam Scheme
The main objective of launching the Sanna Biyyam Scheme is to provide high quality and fine rise to all the ration card holders of Telangana state. With the help of this scheme, the Telangana state government replaced the low-quality rice which 90% of the citizens refused to take. The Telangana state government will now provide the rice purchase at INR 40 per kg to each ration card holder. According to the information the Telangana state government will provide the benefits of the scheme to a total of 3.2 crore citizens across the Telangana state.
