The Assam state government has launched the Jibon Prerana Scheme 2025. To provide financial assistance to the young graduates and Research Scholars of Assam state who are not currently employed, the Assam state government has introduced the Jibon Prerana Scheme. Under the Jibon Prerana Scheme, the Assam state government aims to provide monthly financial assistance to allow them to become financially independent until they are not getting a permanent job. Budget for Jibon Prerana Scheme
The Assam state government has released their state budget on 10th March 2025 on Monday. During the release the finance minister of Assam state Mr Ajnata Neog announced the launch of the Jibon Prerana Scheme. During the announcement of the scheme, the finance minister announced the state government has set up a total budget of INR 25 crore under the scheme. The financial assistance of INR 2500 will be game to the selected beneficiaries under the scheme. To provide extensive support to the academic community in Assam state the state government also provides a one-time grant of INR 25,000 for research scholars.

Objective of Jibon Prerana Scheme
The main objective of launching the Jibon Prerana Scheme is to help the young citizens of Assam state who have completed their graduation. By getting monthly financial assistance the young citizens can carry out their expenses on their own and become financially independent until they are not getting a permanent job. To honor the differently able citizens the Assam state government has increased the one time grant to INR 50,000 under the scheme. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiaries through the DBT process.
