The Delhi government has started the distribution of Delhi Ayushman Bharat Card for Senior Citizens 2025. All the citizens of Delhi who have applied for the Delhi Ayushman card for senior citizens can now visit the official website to apply for the Ayushman card online. With the help of the online system of applying for the Ayushman card, the citizens of Delhi did not have to visit any government office and waste their time and effort. All the senior citizens who are above the age of 60 years selected under the Delhi Ayushman Bharat scheme will receive Healthcare benefits of up to INR 5 lakh from the Delhi government.
What is Ayushman Vaya Vandana?
The Ayushman Vaya Vandana is a part of the Ayushman Bharat scheme that is focused on providing benefits to only senior citizens. Under this scheme, the central government of India will provide benefits to the citizens who are above the age of 60 years. According to the information, a total of 1969 medical procedures are available under the Ayushman Vaya Vandana scheme. All the senior citizens who will get selected under the scheme can get access to 27 specialties, including medicines, diagnostics, surgeries, ICU care, and more. To provide benefits to more and more citizens of Delhi, the Delhi government will set up 1,139 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs.

Distribution of Ayushman Bharat Cards To Senior Citizens
According to the information, the Delhi Ayushman Bharat cards will start distributing among the senior citizens from 28th April 2025. The health minister, Mr. Pankaj Singh, on 20th April 2025 announced the Delhi State Government will start the distribution from 28 April. The announcement was made on the occasion of World Liver Day hosted by the Home Minister of India, Mr Amit Shah, and the Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs Rekha Gupta.
