To make sure that the financially unstable receive suitable sand and eliminate the black marketing of sand in the state the Telangana state government has started the Indiramma Free Sand Booking. Telangana state government has ordered the officials to take strict action against the citizens who are doing black marketing of sand. The Chief Minister of Telangana state has ordered the District Collectors and Superintendents of Police (SPs) to oversee the sand distribution and regulate and take necessary action against black marketing or smuggling of sand.
