According to the latest information released by the Delhi government the senior citizens are all set to receive their Ayushman Vaya Vandana card very soon from the Delhi government. This information was received from the health minister of Delhi, Mr Pankaj Singh, during an event. All the senior citizens who want to download their Ayushman Vaya Vandana card are requested to visit the official website and enter basic details to download their card PDF. The citizens can easily download the card while sitting at home without visiting anywhere.
What is Ayushman Vaya Vandana?
Launched by the Union Cabinet of India, the Ayushman Vaya Vandana scheme is especially designed to uplift the social status and standard of living of the senior citizens living in India. According to the Delhi health minister, the senior citizens, with the help of the Ayushman Vaya Vandana card, can get medical treatment covering 1,961 medical procedures across 27 specialties. With the help of this card, the senior citizens can avail of cashless treatment for all kinds of medical services, including medicines, diagnostic services, hospitalisation, ICU care, surgeries, and more. A total of 5 lakh will be given to the senior citizens for their medical services.

Distribution of Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card
The distribution of the Ayushman Vaya Vandana card will start from 28th April 2025 in Delhi, as announced by the Delhi health minister, Pankaj Singh. The Minister also announced that some of the citizens will receive it on 28 April, while others will get home delivery of their Ayushman Vaya Vandana card. The announcement of the distribution of the card was made on the occasion of World Liver Day event hosted by the Home Minister of India, Mr Amit Shah, and the Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs Rekha Gupta.

- STEP 1: All the citizens of Delhi who want to apply for the Delhi Ayushman Bharat card for senior citizens are requested to download the official mobile application and visit NHA Website.
- STEP 2: The homepage will appear on your mobile screen the citizens must enter their mobile number, and captcha code, and click on the option “login”.
- STEP 3: Conduct a search using specifics such as the state, district, Aadhaar number, PMJAY scheme name, PMJAY ID, or Family ID. Activate your application by clicking the “Action”.
