All the citizens of West Bengal State who have applied for the Banglar Bari Housing Scheme can now visit the official website to check the payment status of the second installment released by the authorities. An online system of checking payment status will allow the citizens of West Bengal State to check status online from the comfort of their homes without visiting any government office and wasting their time and effort. The citizens just need to enter their bank and Bank account number to check the payment status online.
Amount Released Under Banglar Bari Housing Scheme
According to the information from the West Bengal State Government, the authorities have released a total of INR 14,400 crore for the second installment of the scheme. The authorities released the second installment of the scheme on 20th May, releasing the total amount of INR 7200 crore. A total of 12 lakh families across West Bengal State who are selected under the scheme have received the second installment on Tuesday.

Objective of Banglar Bari Housing Scheme
The main objective of launching the Banglar Bari Housing Scheme is to allow the financially unstable citizens of West Bengal State to get proper housing opportunities. All the citizens of West Bengal State who will get selected under the scheme will receive financial assistance of INR 1.2 lakh from the state government. Through this scheme, the West Bengal State Government will eliminate the problem of homelessness in the state by providing financial assistance. According to the information the scheme will target a total of 13.8 lakh citizens of West Bengal State who are homeless.
