To help the female citizens of Tripura state and celebrate the birth of a girl child Union Health Minister Mr JP Nadda has announced the Tripura Mukhyamantri Balika Samriddhi Yojana. The scheme was announced by the Union Health Minister to celebrate the second anniversary of the Bharatiya Janata party in Tripura state. Under the scheme, the Tripura state government will provide financial assistance to the newborn girl child in the state. All the beneficiaries who clear the eligibility criteria are requested to visit the official website and fill out the application form online.
Objective of Tripura Mukhyamantri Balika Samriddhi Yojana
The main objective of launching the Tripura Mukhyamantri Balika Samriddhi Yojana is to uplift the social status and standard of living of the female citizens in Tripura state. This scheme is a great initiative of the authority to encourage female citizens and enhance women’s empowerment in Tripura state significantly. Under this scheme, financial assistance in the form of a one-time bond of INR 50000 will be given to the newborn girl child in Antyodaya families.
