The central government of India has launched the PM-YUVA 3.0. After observing the immense success of the first and the second edition of PM Yuva the central government of India is all set to start the third edition of PM Yuva. With the help of this scheme, the Government of India empowers the young authors of India and allows them to build their personalities and gain exceptional leadership skills. All the young authors of India who clear the eligibility criteria are requested to visit the official website and fill out the application form online before the last date 10th April 2025.

About Prime Minister’s Scheme For Mentoring Young Authors
To allow the young generation of India to embrace Indian culture and literature the Government of India has started the initiative of PM-YUVA 3.0. This scheme will provide a platform for all the young authors to showcase their writing skills and learn about Indian culture and history. To give a chance to the selected young writers to significantly enhance their writing ability, the National Book Trust, India will organize a writersโ online program. A total of 22 languages have been selected by the government of India from which the young authors can write. The young citizens can start sending their applications for the scheme from 11th March 2025.
Objective of PM-YUVA 3.0
The main objective of launching PM-YUVA 3.0 is to empower the young authors of India and allow them to significantly improve their overall personality and writing. The scheme will help to develop a stream of writers who can write on various facets of India encompassing the past, present, and future. The theme for the PM-YUVA 3.0 includes three topics namely Contribution of the Indian Diaspora in Nation Building, the Indian Knowledge System, and Makers of Modern India (1950-2025). All these topics are clearly explained by the authorities to make it easy for all the young authors to start their writing process.

Eligibility Criteria
- The young citizens must not have qualified for first or second edition of the PM-YUVA to be eligible for third.
- The young citizens must not have any personal, professional, or academic obligations that interfere with the mentorship schedule during the PM-YUVA 3.0.
- The maximum age of the young citizens must not be below 30 years.
- The submissions of the manuscript will be accepted through MyGov only till 11:59 PM on 10th April 2025.
- The genre of the entry of the PM-YUVA 3.0 scheme should be Non-Fiction only.
- The change of topic of the Book Proposal will not be allowed after submission.
- There should be only ONE entry per person.
Financial Benefits
- A consolidated scholarship of INR 50,000 per month for a period of six months (50,000 x 6 = Rs. 3 Lakh) per author will be paid under the Mentorship Scheme.

Selection Process
- The young authors will be selected on the basis of the content that they have written and submitted.
- According to the information only 50 young authors will be selected.
- The selection of young authors will be made by a Committee to be constituted by NBT.
- The youngest fulfill all the eligibility criteria to confirm their selection under the PM-YUVA 3.0 scheme.

STEP 1: All the young authors who want to participate under the PM-YUVA 3.0 are requested to visit the official PM Yuva website.

STEP 2: Once the young authors reach the homepage of the official website they must locate and click on the option called โparticipate nowโ.

STEP 3: The young authors must now do the login process by entering their mobile number and password and clicking on the option โloginโ.
STEP 4: A new page will appear on your desktop screen candidates must enter all the details that are asked and attach in necessary documents.
