The Maharashtra state government has released the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana DBT Status Online. All the female citizens of Maharashtra state who have applied for the scheme and are waiting for the 10th installments can now visit the official website to check the DBT status. Previously, the Maharashtra state government was released the 8th installment on 8th March 2025 and the 10th installment at the end of the month of April 2025. However, the Women and Child Development Minister of Maharashtra state has announced that 10th installments will be released in April 2025.
What is Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana?
Minister of Finance and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Ajit Pawar has presented the state budget 2024-25 and announced the launch of Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. Under this scheme, the Maharashtra Government will provide Rs. 1500 per month to all the eligible women of the state. Financial assistance will be transferred directly to the selected applicantโs bank account. This scheme aims to uplift the social status of female citizens by providing financial assistance. The procedure to submit the application form for the scheme has been started in July 2024 and will end on 31st August 2024.
Majhi Ladki Feb and March Installment
According to the information from the Women and Child Development Minister of Maharashtra state Mrs Aditi Tatkare, the scheme Feb and March installment will be released on 8th March 2025. This announcement was made by the minister on 4th February 2025 by posting a post on social media. Now the beneficiaries will receive a combined financial assistance of INR 3000 on the occasion of International Women’s Day on 8th March. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through the DBT process. According to the information a total of 2.52 crore female citizens of Maharashtra state will receive the benefits.

Eligibility Criteria
To avail the benefits under this scheme, candidates should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must be permanent residents of Maharashtra State.
- Applicant must be a female citizen.
- The age of the applicant should be between 21 to 65 years.
- Poor, widow, divorced, and destitute women from economically weaker sections are eligible for this scheme.
- Annual income of the family should be less than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
- The applicant should have her bank account, which is linked to an Aadhaar card and mobile number.
- No member of the woman’s family should be in a government job or an income taxpayer.

Ineligibility Criteria
- If the annual income of the applicant family combined is more than INR 2.5 lakh she will not be selected under the scheme.
- Any member of the applicantโs family must not be a taxpayer.
- If the family members of the applicant are working as regular/permanent employees in a government department, undertaking, board, Government of India or local body of state or drawing person after retirement he will not be selected under the scheme.
- Any family member of the applicant must not be a present or former MP / MLA.
- Any member of the applicantโs family must not be any government official.
- The applicantโs family member must not own a four-wheeler except a tractor to be eligible under the scheme.
