To provide remuneration to the female citizens of Odisha state who are working as a community staff member at the grassroots level, the Odisha state government has announced the launch of Lakhpati Didi Sahayika Yojana. The chief minister of Odisha state Mr Mohan Charan Manjil launched the scheme on 14th February 2025. According to the information the Odisha state government will now bear the cost of providing salary to the community support staff members working at ground level. About Lakhpati Didi Sahayika Yojana
On 14th February 2025, the Chief Minister Mr Mohan Charan Manjil launched the Lakhpati Didi Sahayika Yojana. With the help of this scheme, the Odisha state government will allow female citizens who are working as support staff members to become financially independent. To provide the funds to the female citizens the Odisha state government will transfer the money to the Gram Panchayat Level Federations (GPLFs) and make sure the female beneficiaries will receive the benefits. According to the information, the Odisha state government aims to provide financial assistance to a total of 62,000 female citizens of the state.
