All the female citizens of Maharashtra state who have applied for the Ladki Bahin Yojana can now visit the official website to check the 8th installment status online. With the help of the official website, citizens can check the payment status online in the comfort of their homes without visiting any government office and wasting their time and effort. Under the 8th installment of the scheme, the Maharashtra state government will provide financial assistance of INR 1500. The beneficiaries have already received the 7th of the scheme in January.
About Ladki Bahin Yojana
To provide financial assistance to the female citizens of Maharashtra state the Maharashtra state government launched the Ladki Bahin Yojana. Under this scheme, the female beneficiaries will receive financial assistance monthly from the state government. Till now a total of 7 installments of the scheme have been released by the Maharashtra state government since its launch. Under this scheme, the Maharashtra state government provides financial assistance to female citizens who are between the age group of 21 to 60 years. The Maharashtra state government also announced that they will enhance the financial assistance to INR 2100 for all the beneficiaries.

The main objective of launching the Ladki Bahin Yojana 8th installment is to help the female citizens selected under the scheme. The monthly financial assistance will allow the female citizens to become financially independent and carry out their expenses on their own. This scheme is a significant step of Maharashtra state government towards empowering female citizens and gender equality in the state. The financial assistance under the scheme will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficial is through the DBT process.
