To provide a unique Identity to all the farmers of Odisha state just like an Aadhar card for the citizens of India the Odisha state government has started the registration for Krushak Parichaya Patra. The Agriculture and Cooperation Department of Odisha state is the nodal department that administrates the registering and working of the Krushak Parichaya Patra. All the permanent residents of Odisha state who are farmers by profession are eligible to avail the benefits of the Krushak Parichaya Patra.

Till now the Odisha state government has registered a total of 49.5 lakh farmers of the state. All the small and marginal farmers, land cultivators, and agricultural laborers will be selected under the scheme. With the help of this scheme, the Government of Odisha state will gather all the necessary information regarding the farmers including residential details, land details, crops cultivated, livestock reared, and fisheries. Objective of Krushak Parichaya Patra
