All the citizens of India who have taken alone under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0 to build their houses can now visit the subsidy calculator website to check the total subsidy. With the help of the ISS subsidy, the citizens can easily repay the loan amount without having a huge financial burden. The central government of India has set up subsidy percentages for different categories such as EWS, LIG, and MIG. The citizens just need to enter the basic details to check the subsidy online.
About PMAY 2.0 Urban
The Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana 2.0 Urban was a scheme launched by the central government of India to provide affordable houses to the homeless citizens of the state. Under this scheme the central government of India will provide financial assistance to the homeless citizen so that they can construct their house without any financial difficulties. Recently the central government of India sanctioned 3.5 Lakh new houses under the PMAY 2.0 urban. The central assistance of INR 2.5 lakh will be given to the selected beneficiaries belonging to EWS/LIG/MIG segments, having no pucca house anywhere in the country.
Eligibility Criteria
- The families must belong to EWS/LIG/MIG segments.
- The beneficiary family must be living in urban areas.
- The beneficiary family must have no pucca house either in his or her name or in the name of any member of his/her family anywhere in the country.
What is EWS Category?
- The EWS category under the scheme can be defined as families who have an annual income of less than INR 3 lakh.
What is LIG Category?
- The LIG category under the scheme can be defined as families who have an annual income between INR 3 lakh to 6 lakh.
What is MIG Category?
- The MIG category under the scheme can be defined as families who have an annual income between INR 6 to 9 lakh.
