To provide relief to thousands of patients who are admitted to hospitals across Andhra Pradesh, the Andhra Pradesh state government has resumed the DR NTR Vaidya Seva Scheme. On Monday, 8th of April, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh state, Mr Chandrababu Naidu, announced an INR 500 crore budget under the DR NTR Vaidya Seva Scheme. According to the information, a total of INR 3500 crore is still pending to be paid to the empanelled hospitals under the scheme. Now, the citizens of Andhra Pradesh state can still receive cashless treatment at various hospitals of the state.

The main objective of launching the NTR Vaidya Seva Scheme is to allow the financially weak citizens of Andhra Pradesh state to get proper health care services without any financial difficulties.
