Delhi Govt Approved Rs 30,000 Subsidy
During the announcement of the Delhi Solar Subsidy Scheme 2025, the Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs. Rekha Gupta, announced the approval of INR 30,000 under the subsidy. During the announcement, the Chief Minister announced that the Delhi government will provide an extra INR 30,000 to all the citizens who will install 3 KW solar panels on their rooftop. Now the citizens of Delhi will receive a total financial assistance in the form of a subsidy is INR 108000. From the total INR 30,000 will be given by the Delhi government, and the rest of INR 78,000 will be given by the central government of India under the scheme.

How to Get Subsidy Under Solar Scheme?
- STEP 1: First, the citizens must sign up on the PM Surya Ghar website to get their subsidy under the Solar Scheme.
- STEP 2: The application form will appear on your desktop screen the citizens must fill out and submit it online.
- STEP 3: Your local DISCOM (electricity distribution company) will assess whether your location is suitable for solar installation.
- STEP 4: Now you have to choose an authorised vendor from the provided list for the installation of your solar rooftop system.
- STEP 5: Now the vendor will install your rooftop system while you have to submit the technical and installation details on the portalOnce the successful.
- STEP 6: DISCOM officials inspect the site to ensure everything is up to standard and compliant.
- STEP 7: Upon successful inspection, DISCOM will commission and certify your solar installation.
- STEP 8: Once the inspection is successful, you have to login to your account and request the subsidy through the portal.
- STEP 9: The approved subsidy amount will be directly credited to your linked bank account.

- STEP 1: All the citizens of Delhi who want to apply for the Delhi Solar Subsidy Scheme are requested to visit the official website.
- STEP 2: Once the citizens reach the homepage of the official website they must locate and click on the option called “apply now” under the heading “consumer”.
- STEP 3: A new page will appear on your desktop screen the citizens must enter their mobile number, captcha code and click on the option “verify”.
- STEP 4: Now an OTP will be sent to your mobile number the citizens must enter the OTP that they have received and click on the option “Login”.
- STEP 5: Profile page will appear on your desktop screen the citizens must enter all the details that are asked including their name, Email, address, state, district, and PIN.
- STEP 6: Now, the citizens can click on the option “save,” and the new page will appear the citizens must click on the option “apply for solar rooftop” or “select vendor”.
- STEP 7: Now on the new page the citizens must enter their customer account details including state, district, electricity distribution company, and consumer account number.
- STEP 8: After entering all the details, the citizens must quickly review them and click on the option “next” to complete their process.
