The monthly financial assistance of INR 2500 will allow the female citizens to become financially independent and carry out their necessary expenses on their own. According to the information the scheme is expected to be released during the Mahila Divas program at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. The scheme is a great step of the Delhi government towards gender equality and women empowerment by making female citizens financially strong.

The main objective of launching the Delhi Mahila Samriddhi Yojana is to remove the financial strain and uplift the lives of the female citizens of Delhi.
