About DDA Special Housing Scheme
The Delhi Development Authority is organizing an e-auction to provide flats under the DDA Special Housing Scheme. To participate in the e-auction the citizens must register on the official portal by paying a registration fee of INR 2500 which is neither adjustable nor refundable. For flats that are designed especially for citizens who belong to the HIG group, the EMD must be deposited INR 15 lakh. INR 10 lakh for MIG and INR 4 lakh LIG, is the EMD that must be deposited online by the citizens purchasing the flat. In case the flat will be surrendered after the full declaration through the online e-auction the full EMD will be forfeited by the authorities.

Objective of DDA Special Housing Scheme
The main objective of launching the DDA Special Housing Scheme is to provide premium flats for all citizens of different income groups. The DDA authority has released the curriculum for e-auction on 6th January 2025 and the applications will start receiving from 14th January 2025. The online e-auction will allow the citizens of Delhi to bid for their favorite flats online from the comfort of their homes without visiting any government offices. Even the payment will be done online via online banking. The last date to apply for the scheme is 4th February 2025.
