The central government of India has launched the Cashless Treatment Scheme for Road Accident Victims 2025. To strengthen road safety and medical emergencies in case of a road accident in India, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has introduced the Cashless Treatment Scheme for Road Accident Victims 2025. The initiative was launched by the Ministry on 5th May 2025 and is available for all the citizens of India nationwide. Under this initiative, the central government of India will allow the road accident victims to get cashless treatment for their injuries at designated hospitals. This scheme will allow the road accident victims to get immediate treatment for their injuries without any difficulty.

Objective of the Cashless Treatment Scheme
The main objective of launching the Cashless Treatment Scheme is to allow the road accident victims to get instant treatment from designated hospitals without worrying about financial difficulties. Under this scheme, the Government of India will allow the victim to get cashless treatment of up to INR 1.5 Lakh at the hospitals that are designated by the government under this scheme. A total of 7 days’ worth of treatment will be given to the victims, cashless, allowing them to get all kinds of essential services within the specific time period for free.

Upto Rs 1.5 Lakh Free Treatment
The central government of India announced the free treatment of up to INR 1.5 Lakh for each road accident victim under this initiative. The treatment of INR 1.5 Lakh will be given to the victim of a road accident for a total of 7 days. The National Health Authority of India NH will manage the scheme along with the local support of the authorities and the police to provide the essential services to the victims.
