The Delhi government has launched the Ayushman Bharat Scheme in Delhi 2025. To provide Health Insurance coverage to all the citizens of Delhi and allow them to avail the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat scheme the Delhi government has partnered with the central government of India to implement the Ayushman Bharat scheme in Delhi. With the Aayushman Bharat scheme implemented in Delhi, Delhi will become the 35th state/union territory to allow its citizens the benefits of the scheme. With the help of the Ayushman Bharat scheme, the citizens will be eligible to get Life Insurance coverage of up to INR 5 lakh.
Objective of Ayushman Bharat Scheme
The main objective of launching the Ayushman Bharat scheme is to provide access to affordable healthcare to all the citizens of Delhi. Providing financial assistance for Healthcare will allow the citizens to get proper Healthcare facilities for their diseases. The use of INR 5 lakh will allow the citizens of Delhi to get their treatment done at top government or private hospitals across Delhi. Since the launch of the Ayushman Bharat scheme back in 2018 the scheme has helped a total of 50 crore citizens of India providing affordable and free healthcare.

Delhi Ayushman Bharat Scheme Launched Date
According to the union Health Minister of India Mr JP Nadda, the Ayushman Bharat scheme will be launched in the national capital on 18th March. The Chief Minister of Delhi Mrs Rekha Gupta is all set to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Union Health Ministry of India to implement the Ayushman Bharat scheme in Delhi. After the launch of the Ayushman Bharat scheme the citizens of Delhi will become eligible to avail the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Moreover, the Delhi government has announced that they will provide an extra INR 5 lakh to the family who belong to financially unstable households, making a total financial help of INR 10 lakh.

STEP 1: All the citizens of Delhi who want to register under Delhi Ayushman Bharat Scheme are requested to visit the official website by clicking on the link here.

STEP 3: Conduct a search using specifics such as the state, district, Aadhaar number, PMJAY scheme name, PMJAY ID, or Family ID. Activate your application by clicking the “Action”.
