The BJP party in Delhi has launched the Delhi Ayushman Card Online Apply. All the citizens of Delhi who want to avail the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana can now visit the official website to fill out the application form online. With the help of this scheme, the BJP party will provide free healthcare treatment to all the selected citizens of Delhi. According to the information the Bhartiya Janata Party officials have announced that the party will launch the Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Delhi in the first cabinet meeting after winning the Assembly election.
About Ayushman Bharat Yojana
The Ayushman Bharat Yojana was first launched by the central government of India in 2018 to make Healthcare and medical treatment affordable for the citizens. Under this scheme, the Government of India will provide free Health Care treatment of up to INR 5 lakh to all the selected beneficiaries. Till now the Government of India has provided financial help for medical treatment for a total of 50 crore citizens across India. Under the Aayushman Bharat scheme, the Government of India will cover all the expenses of the citizen including hospitalization charges, pre- and post-hospitalization, medication, and coverage for people over 70.

Recently the Bhartiya Janata Party has won the Delhi assembly election and has appointed Mrs Rekha Gupta as the new Chief Minister of Delhi. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced the cabinet has approved the Ayushman Bharat scheme in the first Cabinet meeting of the newly formed BJP government. The authorities have announced that the citizens can now avail the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat scheme and also the Delhi authorities will provide an additional Rs 5 lakh top-up for all the collected citizens. The approval of the Ayushman Bharat scheme was announced by the Delhi government on Thursday 20th February 2025.

The main objective of launching the Delhi Ayushman card is to provide affordable healthcare options to the financially weak citizens of Delhi. Providing financial assistance for Healthcare will allow the citizens to get proper Healthcare facilities for their diseases.
