The main objective of the INR 2500 scheme for women is to uplift the social status of the financially weak female citizens of the national capital. Using financial assistance the female citizens can become financially independent and carry out their expenses on their own without depending on anyone. All the female citizens of Delhi who are above the age of 18 years and belong to financially weak households are eligible to avail the benefits of the scheme. The female citizens will receive the financial assistance transfer directly to their bank account through the DBT process.
